Edie Julik’s first book, Sailing Through the Storm: A Child's Journey Through Divorce, came as a result of her own life experiences with divorce and blended families, as well as special training and research. Sailing Through the Storm-Divorce adapts the grieving and healing process to younger children by using the visual imagery of the child as a sailboat. It is an excellent interactive tool to help children express their feelings about the pain and confusion they can experience during this turbulent event.

Edie Julik resides along the St. Croix river in beautiful Taylor’s Falls, Minnesota. Edie’s first book, Sailing Through the Storm: A Child's Journey Through Divorce, came as a result of her own life experiences with divorce. Her other Galde Press title is Sailing Through the Storm to the Ocean of Peace. Besides teaching Hula to children, she participates in a drum/dance group called, “Tribal Spirits of the Sun.”
