Clarinda, Iowa, birthplace of the legendary band leader Glenn Miller, looked like a ripe plum ready to be picked to newcomer Alex Barca. He just knew the abandoned radio station would be ideal to feature Miller’s music...and to line his own pockets. But Barca hadn’t reckoned with the town that gave Glenn Miller his values and the good people who lived there.

Born in Manning, Iowa, C. O. Lamp has been writing since he was six.
