John Wayne Kennedy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in biological sciences. He was a federal inspector for the USDA, terminating federal service as a staff officer responsible for various pests. He led the USDA effort to eradicate the gypsy moth from infestations, including San Jose, California, in 1977. He later formed the John W. Kennedy Consultants, Inc., dedicated to representing companies and associations in clearance of pesticides at federal and state agencies. Kennedy has performed underwater diving expeditions for both A & E and Discovery Channel, and was instrumental in the discovery of The Lost Pyramids of Rock Lake.
